Detecting God

My phone ranged “hello”
The voice” hello how are you”
I can recognize the voice but was slightly confused so I said” who is it?”
The voice” ha ha ha”
Me:”Aryan?”
The voice” yes”
Me: "Whose no is this?”
Aryan:” Didi (elder sister) new no”
Me: "ok, when u coming?”
Aryan:”tomorrow”

Aryan is my nephew (my eldest sis son). He is studying in Bishop Cotton’s boarding, Shimla.
Sister and Brother-in-law expired last year leaving their kids Aryan(12yrs) and
Anouska(17 yrs) in this malicious world. It’s been tuff time since then.
Life took to a downslide which still continues. The nastiest segment continues,
some left us some unfaltered to come back again. My doors are opened for
anyone to enter and exit. Probably knowing that come what may &
what ever it takes I have to live and continue fighting, no matter what.
The purpose of this post was to tell u an interesting story about Aryan.
Once I asked him” what you want to become in Life?”
He said “ A detective”
I was flabbergasted and asked “why?”
He said: " grand pa & you say mom and dad has gone to God, so I want to be detective
and find out where he in fact lives”
I again was taken aback & asked ” But why”
Aryan: “ to ask why he(God) took my parents”

There was very less I could have said after that, so just hugged him.Its not
tuff time which breaks us but more than that approach of people around you.
Some decided to leave some joined and life moves on.
Life is strange, stranger are the ways of it, strangest are we so-called humans.

  7. Thanks for sharing the story, which I am sure is very personal to you.

Being someone, who lost her father at almost the same age as Aryan I can totally understand what he might be going through especially since his is a loss more severe than mine.

Just let him know that his parents chose to go to God to ensure that they can always remind Him to take care of Aryan and his sister.

    God bless the lil kids.

    Sorry for your loss.

  18. A sweet story about your nephew. You did the right thing: just to hug him. Some questions cannot be answered.

Thank you for your visit to my blog posts today. I appreciate your kind comments.

  19. I was intrigued by your red candle showing your were following my blog. Now I'm very glad I found this link into your mind all those miles away from where I live. Maybe you would understand the importance of these words I once wrote:-

'That which is sought if often elusive. That which comes unbidded is reality before it is recognised.'

    Here's to red candles!

  20. Good to see that so many people are touched and concern, but the fact it one has to deal with the loss all alone.
“. . . as they die, the ones we love, we lose our witnesses, our watchers, those who know and understand the tiny little meaningless patterns, those words drawn in water with a stick. And there is nothing left but the endless flow.”

  41. My close pal is a 5-time guinness holder from navi Mumbai. His brother, brother's wife (would-be-mom) and baby girl were travelling to Shirdi when their vehicle met with an accident and they passed away leaving the girl. When I tried to console my friend on phone from sharjah his words were: "Another challenge in life." He is such a great guy..And god bless aryan and yr near and dear ones..i am confused at such happenings but like socrates, i can only say, i know nothing.
