Delhi shivers

On Gurgaon-Mehrauli road, Delhi: After a warm December, the sudden chill saw several people out in the city, specially school children making the most of the remaining days of their winter vacation.
At India Gate: Delhi shivered as thick blanket covered entire city and whole of North & North-East India.
Most trains from north & eastern part of India where running late by 8-12 hrs.The city was left shivering, since the maximum temperature had dipped to 15 degrees Celsius (20.2 on Friday) by the afternoon though the minimum was slightly higher than Friday at 5.4 degrees Celsius. So, it was officially declared a ‘cold day' by the met department and people couldn't agree more.
Those driving home on Friday night weren't surprised to see day struggling to break out on Saturday. Many were lucky to stay home but those who had hit the road faced an ordeal with visibility at 10 am only 100 metres.
The morning scene at Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi on Saturday where United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi was to lay the foundation stone for the new airport building complex.

  3. The photos look like it does here this morning. We have a lot of fog, and it's a misty light rain also falling. My favorite time of the year is late Spring, early Summer. I like all of the seasons, but Winter seems to be the most depressing because of the lack of sun shine.
