WATCHING DELHI GROW

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation began integrated trials on the brand new 4.05-km Barakhamba-Karol Bagh section of the upcoming Line III that would connect Barakhamba, nextdoor to Connaught Place in the heart of the city, to Dwarka nearly 22 km away.
The first train trial run took place in the presence of DMRC Managing Director E. Sreedharan and Directors C. B. K. Rao, Satish Kumar and R. N. Joshi. The train was flagged off from Barakhamba at 9-50 in the morning and went up to Karol Bagh.
