Not So Fair
Delhi Book Fair has invariably been a much-awaited event with hundreds of students and book lovers thronging Pragati Maidan ever year. But this time, the response was quite thanda as the majority of the stall owners didn’t get many customers Even though the book fair had started a week back, many could spare time to visit the fair only on the last day. It was neither negligence nor a laidback attitude that led to their delayed visits. Kavita Virat, who had come to the fair to get books for her friends said, “It has been an hour now and I haven’t been able to find the book I need. Since my budget is just Rs 1500, I will try to strike the best bargain.”
