TAKING SUPREME COURT HEAD ON
The printed posters strewn all over the campus may be a sign of how campaigning rules have been openly flouted, but for little children from the nearby Chandrawal village, these countless posters mean a fortune. For a week since the campaigning for DUSU elections started, these children, many of whom go to the MCD school in the area, have been visiting the campus every afternoon after their classes to fill as many sacks with posters as they can carry back home for their parents to sell to the nearby raddiwala. And on Thursday, they hit a jackpot with party supporters generously hurling lakhs of posters in the air, on roads and on cars, it being the last day for campaigning.
