While shopping is still that is mostly associated with malls but their importance has gone much beyond their traditional role. Says Abhimanyu from Punjabi Bagh, "Rajouri Garden Malls have become my favourite hangout. Recently, when I got my first job in a BPO, I gave a rocking treat to my friends here and everyone enjoyed it." His friend Shalini further added, "Who wants to go to an isolated restaurant for partying, when there is so much variety available here in the malls to spend time with your friends." Youngsters in West Delhi feel that for get together with friends and cousins there is nothing better than Rajouri Garden malls. Recently, on the occasion of Rakhsha Bandhan, Nikhil Arya, Bhaskar and Ambar from Punjabi Bagh had a gala time during the pre-Rakhi party with their cousins in West Delhi malls. "With malls in the vicinity, partying has become quite easier. We are seven cousins and every Rakhi we all have a great time together," they share. Echoed Richa, Shikha, Pari and Vansh, “Our Rakhi day was spent while exploring the new eating joints in the malls. And then the chilling out session continued for hours."Definitely, malls are providing a wider social arena, where youngsters can enjoy and spend quality time.
